What's a database?

Welcome to the A-Z Database list:

a single source of all databases available to the ICA community.

A database is a collection of resources organized by topic. Our subscription databases provide academic and scholarly resources that include full-text documents from ebooks and articles from newspapers, magazines and journals. Several databases also provide images, sheet music, video and audio.

-  Content is reviewed for authority and accuracy.
-  Search options can limit or expand searches.
-  Content can be accessed anytime, anywhere.

Using a database

TIPS:

  • When off-campus, use your Interlochen ID from your badge or from your CANVAS profile.
  • Your ID # is the same number used for both PatronID and PIN login.
  • Always access the library databases through the A-Z  Database list or the library portal.
  • Use the citation URL or the stable URL to save articles. Bookmarking articles in your web browser is not recommended.
